Jennifer Lawrence To Reteam With Bradley Cooper & David O. Russell For Next Project

Jennifer Lawrence has lined up her next gig.

The actress, fresh off her Golden Globe Best Actress win for “Silver Linings Playbook” and Academy Award nomination, will reteam with the hit movie’s director (David O. Russell) and co-star Bradley Cooper for a new drama, Deadline reports.

The currently untitled project (formerly known as “American Bullsh*t) centers on the true story of a late ‘70s FBI sting operation that took down multiple U.S. congressmen — thanks to the help of con artist Melvin Weinberg (who will be played by Christian Bale).

Lawrence will play Bale’s wife, according to the website.

Also on board for the film are Amy Adams, who will play Bale’s mistress/partner in crime, Lawrence’s “Silver Linings” co-star Bradley Cooper (playing a federal agent) and Jeremy Renner, as the leader of the New Jersey state assembly.

The movie marks the third film Lawrence and Cooper will make together. In addition to “Silver Linings,” the pair will star in “Serena,” a Depression-era drama slated to hit theaters in September.
