Jennifer Lopez & Aerosmith To Perform On ‘American Idol’

“American Idol” judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler will give this year’s crop of contestants a few pointers when they take to the stage to perform later this season.

Access Hollywood has confirmed that the “On The Floor” singer and Steven – with his band Aerosmith – will perform on the hit FOX series.

“I thought it was a big secret. I guess the cat’s out of the bag!” Steven told Access on Monday night at PaleyFest 2011.

The rocker said he and the rest of his band mates haven’t decided which song they’ll perform, but it appears they might have an extra set of hands available to them during their “Idol” performance.

“I’m gonna judge, and then I’ll jump on [stage] and perform with them,” fellow judge Randy Jackson joked.

“Idol” Executive Producer Ken Warwick also confirmed the news to Access, but said the details are still being sorted out.

“We know they’re going to do something, but we’re still talking about it,” Ken said at Monday’s PaleyFest event, which honored the reality competition series.
