Jennifer Lopez: ‘An Honor’ To Work With Tom Cruise At MTV Movie Awards

Jennifer Lopez told Access Hollywood that Tom Cruise had to work extremely hard in order to pull off their MTV Movie Awards duet, where he portrayed foul-mouthed producer Les Grossman – and she considered it an “honor” to work with the big screen superstar.

“It was so fun working with him, Tom is a riot. He’s so positive, he’s such an amazing artist,” J.Lo told Access at the 2010 Apollo Theater Spring Benefit Concert & Awards Ceremony at The Apollo Theater in New York City on Monday night.

The singer said Tom had his work cut out for him when it came to their duet and dance-off from earlier this month.

“He had a lot to learn for that and it was hard for him, but he was always with a big smile on his face,” she continued. “He’s just an amazing person, he really is one of the most special people that you could ever meet and it was an honor for me to work with him.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Paramount announced that Tom’s Les Grossman character will be the focus of a new movie, produced by Ben Stiller – who first appeared with the character in 2008’s “Tropic Thunder.”
