Jennifer Lopez Not Ready To Commit To Season 11 Of ‘American Idol’; Says She’s ‘On The Fence’

Randy Jackson may have said last month that the Season 10 “American Idol” judges would all be back next year, but Jennifer Lopez has admitted she’s not onboard… yet.

“This is the question of the hour. I don’t know,” she told BBC Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills in a new interview. “I haven’t been forced to make a decision and I’m glad about that.”

Jennifer explained she is still trying to figure out if she wants to come back, or even, if she’ll have time.

“I’m very, kind of on the fence about it. I had an amazing time doing it and I loved it, but I have a lot of other things happening and it’s going to come down to making a choice of… what I want to do for the next year,” Jennifer explained.

The superstar said all is not lost with her return to “Idol,” as she hasn’t been asked for a definitive yes or no to returning.

“We’re not really at the breaking point like, ‘You have to make a decision now!’ So I’m not, I’m really enjoying the time of just waiting and seeing,” she said.

When asked if she thought her move to the judges’ bench of “American Idol” Season 10 helped influence other stars to take judges’ seats on other shows – like Christina Aguilera, who is on “The Voice” — Jennifer shrugged.

“I don’t know. Maybe,” she said. “I think people sometimes have ideas about things and I’m not one of those people.”

Jennifer explained that she has no problems moving between the worlds of movie star, singer, mom and reality judge.

“I feel like you can do whatever you want,” she added.
