She may have just been “Jenny from the Block” back in the day, but now, Jennifer Lopez has been crowned as People’s “World’s Most Beautiful Woman” – something the Latin diva finds comical.
“It’s crazy – it’s kind of like, overwhelming and funny,” Jennifer told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover of her lofty new title, in a phone interview on Thursday’s Access Hollywood Live. “It’s great. I’m really flattered.”
“Because of your new title, do you get any hall passes?” Kit inquired. “Like, ‘Marc, get up with the kids – I AM the most beautiful woman in the world!’”
“Yeah, no,” Jennifer laughed. “I get up with the kids everyday.”
The gorgeous mother of two fell victim to “American Idol’s” censor-button on Wednesday night’s show after telling contestant Stefano Langone that his powerful performance was “the sh**” — but J.Lo swears she didn’t utter the expletive.
“[Show producer] Nigel [Lythgoe] ran out to me and he’s like, ‘Did you say sh*t?’” Jennifer told Billy and Kit of her “S-bomb” mishap. “And I said, ‘No, I said ‘Shiz!’ Shizzy! You know?’ I would never say that on TV!’”
“You’re welcome to say shiz on this show anytime,” Billy told Jennifer, laughing.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the Puerto Rican artist, 41, was named People’s “ World’s Most Beautiful Woman” on Wednesday.
“It’s so crazy. Rarely am I left speechless, but I feel honored. I feel not worthy, you know? I feel happy and proud. Proud that I’m not 25!,” she told the mag of her honor.
Jennifer also said she’s in a better place now in her forties, compared to when she was in her twenties.
“I feel better, I feel smarter. In my twenties, I just wasn’t there in my mind and my soul and my spirit. It’s just great to be in the position I’m in now and be able to share that with the world,” she explained.
