Jennifer Love Hewitt Headed To The X Factor?

“The X Factor” could be getting a little Love!

According to Us Weekly, Jennifer Love Hewitt is being considered as a judge for the upcoming Season 3 of Simon Cowell’s reality singing competition, set to debut this fall.

“Simon is very interested,” a source claimed.

Though best known for acting, “The Client List” star, 34, has recorded a slew of music, including 2002’s “BareNaked,” which had some success on the charts and radio. She also recorded songs for the soundtrack of “I Still Know What You Did Last Summer” and as a kid sang backup for Martika’s 1989 hit single, “Toy Soldiers.”

However, an “X Factor” rep told the mag that Jennifer joining the reality singing competition “is pure speculation.”

A rep for Fox had no comment when contacted by Access Hollywood.

Reba McEntire and Kelly Rowland (who was a judge on U.K’s “The X Factor” in 2011) are also reportedly in the running to replace exiting judges L.A. Reid and Britney Spears. Co-host Khloe Kardashian will also not be returning.

Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato will be back at the judges’ table for the upcoming season.
