Newlyweds Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg are madly in love, and their romance (soon to be documented for all to see on a new reality show) is an answer to Jenny’s mom’s prayers.
“My mom’s really happy about [us],” Jenny told Access Hollywood’s Liz Hernandez at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday. “She prayed enough times for someone to love me.”
“I found the one,” she added.
Following the announcement that the couple would soon star in a reality show (“Donnie Loves Jenny” – set to air on A&E), was the pair nervous they may fall victim to the reality romance curse?

“Problems make us nervous, but nothing else,” Jenny said.
Added Donnie, “Yeah, I mean people keep saying like celebrity couples all break up on reality shows. Reality shows do not break up couples, couples break up couples.
“That’s the truth,” he added.
Jenny also weighed in on the changes at her former workplace, “The View.”
“I feel like everything has its growing pains,” she said. “I am in love with Nicole [Wallace], I think she’s doing an awesome job. But I love Rosie, I love Whoopi, I don’t know Rosie Perez very well. But I feel like with more time – if people give it time – that it will start to get really good.
“Chemistry will get there, it takes time,” she added.
