Jenny McCarthy is a single lady, once again.
According to People, the 39-year-old blond bombshell and Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher have split.
“Brian and I have decided to turn our romance into an amazing friendship,” Jenny, who appeared on Playboy’s July/August cover, told People.
“I will continue to be the biggest cheerleader for him. Go, Bears!” she added.
In May, the actress first confirmed she was dating the NFL star.
At a Ciroc Cabana Club event last month in Chicago, she spoke about dating Urlacher and how pleased she was to find someone outside of the Hollywood spotlight.
“As time went on I realized that he’s even better than the story in my head,” she said of dating the 34-year-old athlete at the time.
In July, Jenny noted that she was living in her own place in Chicago and planned on continuing to do so in the coming year.
She previously dated Jim Carrey and was married to John Asher, with whom she had son Evan.
