Jenny McCarthy Talks ‘Jersey Shore’: Does ‘The Situation’ Know He’s A Grenade?

Hollywood has fallen in love with the cast of MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” and Jenny McCarthy is no exception.

The always outspoken actress-model-author stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Thursday, and dished the dirt on, well, just about everything, including her thoughts on America’s favorite “GTL’ers.”

“I am weirdly like, liking [‘Jersey Shore’] for some reason,” Jenny told Access Hollywood Live’s Billy Bush and Kit Hoover. “I didn’t think I was going to, but I’m like, ‘Oh this is good!’ It’s so like, trashy great.

“I just can’t believe how much they just love their tans and their bodies and their grenades,” she continued. “It’s just a whole new world that I’m just opening up to going, ‘Wow.’ This is not like my MTV days, that’s for sure!”

The former host of MTV’s “Singled Out” revealed she proudly primped her pouf when she dressed as the “Princess of Poughkeepsie” for a good cause.

“For a charity party I dressed up as Snooki. It was awesome — I looked so awful!” Jenny laughed.

The bombshell, who recently released her eighth book, “Love, Lust & Faking It,” had some mildly harsh words for another MTV star turned author – “Jersey Shore’s” resident ladies’ man, “The Situation.”

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino – a recent “Dancing with the Stars” cast-off — is releasing a book titled, “Here’s The Situation: A guide to Creeping on Chicks, Avoiding Grenades, and Getting in Your GTL on the Jersey Shore” – a title Jenny doesn’t believe will be flying off the shelves.

“I don’t think women, first of all, are going to buy this book,” Jenny told Billy and Kit of Sitch’s venture into the world of penmanship. “Does he know that he actually is a grenade?

“I mean, I wouldn’t hit it,” Jenny continued, keeping Billy, Kit and the crew in stitches. “I think he’s awesome, like, I think he’s hilarious — I’m a big fan, but I mean… does he know that he’s not all that?”

As for a man Jenny would “hit,” the star says she’s enjoying spending time with her new man, former fitness model Jason Toohey.

“I’m having a little bit of fun there,” she told Billy and Kit. “There’s no ‘L word’ thrown out there — I’m just having a really good time, he’s a great guy.

“We’re playing Twister,” she added, in true “Jenny” form.

If her current “fun” with Jason heads south, the story of their “Twister” escapades may end up forever immortalized on the pages of her next book, because, as Jenny says, she is the “Taylor Swift of the publishing world.”

“Everyone, I think, realizes that if you’re going to date me, you’re open game,” Jenny told Billy and Kit. “If it’s weird, if it’s bizarre, or I, you know, learn a valuable lesson in love, I’m gonna write about it.

“We have to write from true experiences,” she continued. “So if Taylor [Swift] needs to sing, like, ‘Oh, he broke my heart,’ I can bring, ‘Oh my God, he has a bad penis!’”

While Jenny’s life is mainly an open book, there is one subject that’s off limits: her five-year relationship with Jim Carrey.

“I have nothing but love and gratitude for that relationship,” Jenny said.

“I was forced to [keep my experiences private] in my last break-up, you know, because [Jim Carrey] was very large on the public scale,” she added. “So you know, out of respect to — everyone knows who he is — I did not. But that’s it. Everyone else is just to me fair game.”
