Jerry Seinfeld On Show Reunions: ‘Do You Go Back To Your Old Boyfriends & Girlfriends?’

The cast of “Seinfeld” may be stepping in front of the cameras once again on the new season of HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” but Jerry himself said stars of old shows shouldn’t reunite.

“Never. Go home!” he joked with Access Hollywood on Thursday night at the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” Season 7 premiere in New York. “Put your feet up and watch somebody else’s show, that’s my advice. Do you go back to your old boyfriends and girlfriends? You go, ‘Oh, this is why I left!’”

“It’s not a separate reunion show, it’s part of a ‘Curb’ episode,” series star and former “Seinfeld” producer Larry David further explained.

While the stars have said that getting back together was easy, some things have changed in the decade since “Seinfeld” ended – including Michael Richards’ infamous 2006 performance at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood that ended with a string of racial epithets.

“It was a pretty traumatic experience for someone to go through,” Larry told Access. “I think he is a better man for it, yes, for sure… He’s not as he was portrayed.”
