MTV unveiled the newest addition to the “Jersey Shore” on Friday – Deena Nicole – and already she’s a hit with her fellow castmates.
“She’s a great time,” Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino told AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman at the Television Critics Association Summer Session on Friday. “If she was a holiday, she’d be Thanksgiving!”
“She’s a blast in a glass,” Jenni “JWOWW” Farley added.
Deena, a real-life friend of Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, has been on board with the gang, who have been filming Season 3 recently back in their original haunt – the New Jersey seaside. She was not around when they filmed Season 2 in Miami.
While fans will have to wait a while before Deena gets any screen time on MTV, The Situation said they are all getting along.
“We’re like big brothers and sisters, all of us,” he said. “We all look out for each other.”
One thing the group may have to work on, however, is Deena’s nickname. She revealed to Laura that she doesn’t have one.
“I’m just Deena Nicole,” the pint-sized brunette said.
Season 2 of “Jersey Shore” airs Thursdays at 10 PM on MTV.
