Jesse McCartney Talks New Movie ‘Expecting Amish,’ & New Album ‘In Technicolor’

Jesse McCartney is beyond busy with a new movie, upcoming tour and an album dropping, but he made some time to stop by Access Hollywood Live on Tuesday.

Here’s what the 27-year-old star told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover:

On his Lifetime movie “Expecting Amish” role: “He just falls in love with a girl who doesn’t need anything… It’s a very cute film.”

On his own love life: “I have a girlfriend, I’m very happy… I just got a house a few months ago, life is good.”

On indulging: “I like a good drink and I like to cook, I love food.”

On his upcoming tour: “I’m about to hit the road myself. I’m about to do a House of Blues tour that kicks off on July 25… for like five weeks.”

On the influences for his new album “In Technicolor”: “It’s a reflection of what I grew up listening to as a kid, a lot of ’60s, ’70s, ’80s pop music.”

“Expecting Amish” premieres July 20 at 8/7c on Lifetime and his new album, “In Technicolor” drops on July 22.
