Jessica Alba On Pregnancy: ‘I Never Felt Less Sexy’

While a host of celebrity moms, including Halle Berry, have said they felt super-sexy during their pregnancy, one star has admitted she felt anything but hot – Jessica Alba.

“I never felt less sexy,” Alba told the August issue of Cosmopolitan’s UK edition.

Though she may have felt uncomfortable in her maternity frame, the star has no regrets.

“I wouldn’t have changed it for the world,” she said of bringing Honor Marie Warren, now just a month old, into the world. “But I wanted to get rid of all the weight.”

Shortly before giving birth to her daughter in early June, Alba tied the knot with her longtime sweetheart, Cash Warren, a producer. Finding him though, and having a family with Warren, before her third decade on earth, took the actress by surprise.

“I never thought I’d find a man before 30, let alone marry him and have his baby,” Alba said. “I always used to meet the wrong guys – the ones who wanted to hang out for a week and see how far they could get. If you didn’t have sex in the first few days, you were either frigid or a lesbian. So I held out – and, boy, am I glad I did!”

One reason Alba hinted she fell for Warren? His profession.

“I love that he’s not an actor,” Alba said. “I’m way too high maintenance to be in a relationship with an actor – they’re all such divas!”

And Warren also won points for how he took the evolution of their family.

“Nothing was planned – the pregnancy or the wedding,” she said. “But he took it in his stride and convinced me we’d conquer all!”
