Jessica Simpson is headed overseas to entertain U.S. troops, the pop star announced online.
“Hey ya’ll. I just wanted to say hi, and let you know that I am hard at work on my country record, and I can’t wait to share it with all of you,” Jessica posted on SweetKisses.net. “I am heading to Kuwait to do a show for the troops, then back in the studio.”
Jessica will perform in Kuwait as part of the Operation MySpace. The concert will also include performances from The Pussycat Dolls, Disturbed, Filter, DJ Z-Trip and comedian Carlos Mencia.
In the online message, posted to a section of the site called “Jessica’s Corner” on February 27, Jessica ends by saying, “I love you all and am so blessed by the support and love you show me everyday. xoxo jess.”
The 27-year-old blonde bombshell has been known to lend her time to worthy causes in the past.
In March 2007, Jessica donated a brand new minivan to an orphanage in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.
