Jessica Simpson’s Wedding Dress Details

Jessica Simpson married Eric Johnson on Saturday and the fashion mogul didn’t wear traditional white for her big day.

Jess, who will turn 34 this week, opted for a Carolina Herrera champagne and gold strapless gown for her (second) wedding, according to People.

“The whole dress is embroidered in gold and feels very regal,” Herrera told the mag of the multi-layer tulle gown, adding that her goal was to turn Jessica into a “beautiful golden girl” for the day.

The bride finished off her wedding look with Brian Atwood shoes and a cathedral length veil, and wore jewels by Neil Lane, the mag reported.

And Jessica’s something blue was hidden inside her dress in the form of a blue ribbon.

“I always do that because I think it brings good luck,” Herrera said of the hidden hue.

, Jessica and Eric – who got engaged in 2010 – tied the knot at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, Calif., on July 5.

The couple’s two kids – daughter Maxwell, 2, and son Ace, 13 months — were a big part of the ceremony, as Ace served as a ring bearer while Maxwell walked down the aisle as a flower girl.
