Jessica Sued For Millions

Jessica Simpson is being sued for not promoting a brand of low-priced jeans and apparel after signing a multimillion dollar licensing deal, according to thesmokinggun.com.

The $100 million breach of contract lawsuit was filed by the Tarrant Apparel Group in New York State Supreme Court, thesmokinggun.com stated.

Tarrant alleged that Jessica went back on her promise to support the line and refused to be photographed wearing clothing from the JS by Jessica Simpson and Princy lines, thesmokinggun.com stated.

Jessica was supposed to be “actively involved” in promoting the clothing, according to the lawsuit.

She also was supposed to wear the clothes at “public events, shows and appearances” whenever “reasonably practicable,” according to the lawsuit.

The three-year deal between Jessica and Tarrant was signed in December 2004, thesmokinggun.com stated.
