This is turning out to be Jessie J’s year.
The 23-year-old singer is the big winner at Britain’s MOBO music awards, taking four trophies including best album for her debut, “Who You Are.”
Her UK top 10 hit “Do It Like a Dude” took the prize for best song, and she was named best British act and best newcomer at the awards, which celebrate music of black origin.
Other prizes went to Adele, who was named best R&B or soul act, and London rapper Tinie Tempah, who took the hip-hop prize.
Rihanna was named best international act during the ceremony at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Center in Glasgow, while Boyz II Men were honored for outstanding contribution to music.
The winners were chosen by online public vote.
