Jimmy Fallon Chips Tooth While Treating Injured Finger

Jimmy Fallon is on a roll – of bad luck, that is!

The “Tonight Show” host shared an Instagram picture from his dentist’s chair on Friday, telling followers he’d chipped his front tooth.

As if that weren’t enough, the incident also has an ironic twist.

Jimmy admitted his latest mishap occurred while treating the finger injury that sent him to the ICU for 10 days in June.

“Chipped front tooth trying to open tube of scar tissue repair gel for recovering finger injury,” the comedian captioned his snap.

The Emmy winner at least maintained his trademark humor throughout the ordeal, including the hashtag “#BestSummerEver” alongside the photo.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Jimmy was forced to take a two-week hiatus starting on June 26 after a freak accident in which he tripped over a rug in his home.

He reached for a countertop to break his fall and caught his wedding ring on the edge, ripping his finger out of its socket in the process. The late night host underwent a six-hour surgery in order to avoid amputation.

His dental woes, however, won’t keep the funnyman down for nearly as long.

“Brand new Tonight Show tonight!” Jimmy assured fans at the end of his post.
