Jimmy Kimmel To Matt Damon: ‘There Will Be Retaliation!’

Jimmy Kimmel had one of his most celebrity packed shows on Thursday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” but he’s not exactly happy with Matt Damon, who tied him up and took over hosting duties.

“I have escaped and there will be retaliation, I promise you,” he told Access Hollywood on Friday as he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The late night host, who recently moved to 11:35 PM, used to end his show apologizing for not having time for Matt, and finally, on Thursday’s show, Matt was there — and not just as a guest. He took over booking, interviewing and recasting the show for one night only, and even gave the show a new name – “Jimmy Kimmel Sucks!”

Sheryl Crow was the new bandleader, Andy Garcia the new sidekick (replacing Guillermo), and the couch was packed with A-list stars, including Nicole Kidman who made one sexy entrance, straddling the chair-bound Jimmy and grinding over him.

“Nicole Kidman’s entrance was definitely my favorite part of the show,” Jimmy laughed.

Ben Affleck made a cameo, as did Reese Witherspoon, Gary Oldman, Amy Adams, Demi Moore and Jimmy’s ex, Sarah Silverman.

Revealing a peek behind the curtain, Jimmy said it was all part of a plan that began to take shape quite some time ago.

“It’s something that we’ve been working on for a while, and actually, we’ve been talking about it for a couple of years and it came together nicely,” he said.

Reflecting on not only last night’s show, but on his Walk of Fame honor on Friday, Jimmy said things can only go downhill from here on out.

“I feel like all the good things have come in a bunch and then it’s going to be boring the rest of my life,” he said.
