Joe Cross’ Mean Green Juice Recipe

Over 10 million folks have watched Joe Cross’ remarkable journey back to health in his documentary “Fat, Sick & Nearly.” A self-described glutton, Joe decided to turn his life around and it all started to get better with the right nutrition. In 2010, he embarked on a 60-day juice cleanse and lost nearly 100 pounds and kicked his need for medications.

Now, the wellness guru wants to share his secrets in his new book The Reboot with Joe Juice Diet. He made his favorite green juice on Access Hollywood Live.

Mean Green Juice Recipe

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Yield: 1-2

Serving Size: 16oz. (500 mls)

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cucumber
  2. 4 celery stalks
  3. 2 apples
  4. 6-8 leaves kale (Australian tuscan cabbage)
  5. 1/2 lemon
  6. 1 tbsp ginger

Directions:

  1. Wash all produce well
  2. Peel the lemon, optional
  3. Juice
  4. Pour over ice
  5. Enjoy!
