Prepare to hear “WHOA!” uttered in stereo sound by the Sin City masses!
Former “Blossom” hunk Joey Lawrence will soon head to Las Vegas to strut his fit physique with the Chippendales boys for a three-week hosting stint in June.
“It’s something crazy – I’ve never done anything like this in my life,” Joey told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Friday’s Access Hollywood Live. “I’m 36 and I don’t know, man, being in good shape is part of what I do. I used to play sports a lot and can’t do that because I work a lot and it just doesn’t work. I said, ‘What the hell – I’m gonna do it!’ It’s gonna be fun.”
While the “Melissa & Joey” star has yet to flesh out a “signature move” for the famed all-male revue, he will be performing a solo number.
“I’m actually gonna be hosting [the show],” Joey said. “[We] come out, we do a number and then I do another number by myself. It’ll be fun!
“I get to spend weekends in Vegas in June and they’re gonna treat me great,” he added with a laugh. “It’s gonna be awesome.”
Joey, who placed third on “Dancing with the Stars” Season 3, also revealed he’s been contacted by “DWTS” producers about returning for the upcoming “All-Stars Edition” – but remained tight-lipped when asked if he’s signed on.
“They’ve sort of reached out,” he said with a smile. “I don’t know… we’ll see. Maybe [I’ll do it] — I don’t know.”
