Kyra Sedgwick and Jon Cryer have been tapped to announce the 59th Primetime Emmy Award nominations, Access Hollywood has learned.
Sedgwick and Cryer will join Dick Askin, Chairman and CEO of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, to announce the nominees live on Thursday, July 19 at 5:40 a.m. at the Academys Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood.
Nominees in the top eleven categories will be revealed in the four-minute live ceremony.
This year’s Emmy Awards show will air on FOX on September 16 at 8:00 PM (EST), and will originate from the historic Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Sedgwick and Cryer were both Emmy nominees last year for their work in “The Closer” and “Two and a Half Men,” respectively.
