Jon Gosselin Cashes Out Joint Bank Account With Kate

Jon Gosselin has emptied his joint bank account with estranged wife Kate, a TLC rep confirmed to Access Hollywood.

Radar Online was first to report the news.

Jon allegedly removed $200,000 from the former couple’s joint bank account – leaving a mere $1,000, the rep confirmed. A judge had previously warned the former couple that neither could remove significant amounts from the account without the other’s approval.

Kate responded with legal action against Jon, having a lawyer send a letter to him demanding the return of the funds, with papers to be filed in a Pennsylvania court on Monday.

The news comes just days after Jon appeared on “Larry King Live,” where he talked about wanting to repair his relationship with Kate.

“I want Kate and I to mediate. I want us to become friends,” he said at the time – after he attempted to bring production on the former couple’s TLC show, “Jon and Kate Plus Eight,” to a halt following the announcement of its name-change to “Kate Plus Eight.”

Despite his public entreaties to Kate, Jon wasn’t rushing back to the family home in Wernersville, Penn., this weekend.

After his “Larry King Live” appearance, he was photographed at a Los Angeles Dodgers game on Friday.

On Saturday, he was spotted signing autographs at West Hollywood’s Millions of Milkshakes, where the reality dad debuted his own signature drink.
