Jon & Kate Gosselin To Date Other People When Series Returns

Big changes are happening in the new season of “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” which returns to TLC on Monday, including a possible glimpse at the former couple’s new relationships with others.

During Thursday’s Television Critics Association panel in Pasadena, Calif. for TLC, network president Eileen O’Neill said the couple’s iconic interview couch won’t be around in the new season. Instead, the reality parents will film interviews in chairs – but that doesn’t mean Jon and Kate won’t have company by their side.

“As far as new people and places that may be cycling into Jon and Kate’s life, we are taking it on a case-by-case basis,” O’Neill said.

But she warned that Jon and Kate’s blossoming new relationships others might not be similar to the headlines the couple has recently made.

“This is real life. It’s important to remember that our cameras are only there for moments in time, and those moments have limits,” she continued.

Regardless of what viewers might or might not see in the new season, O’Neill said the series would continue to respect the family of ten.

“Jon and Kate have never said they were perfect, which has made them relatable and created an undeniable connection with the viewers. We will continue to capture this family’s journey in a respectful and sensitive way,” she said
