Angelina Jolie created quite a stir after she struck a pose – with a lot of leg – while presenting the award for Best Original Screenplay at the Oscars on Sunday night, and her dad – Jon Voight — thought the moment was a real hoot.
“She’s fantastic. And what a funny turn, you know, standing there putting her leg out,” her dad laughed, recalling the moment on the Vanity Fair Oscar party red carpet with Access Hollywood.
“It’s so cute, you know, and the audience responded and then she laughed. I mean, it was great,” Jon added. “A nice moment.”
Angelina attended the Oscars with partner Brad Pitt, who was up for Best Actor, for his role in “Moneyball,” and Jon said he was hoping Brad would win.
“I was rooting for Brad, of course, and Brad’s performance is really brilliant – a great performance,” Jon told Access.
While Brad lost out to Jean Dujardin, who picked up the trophy for his role in “The Artist,” Jon suggested more people should check out Brad’s “Moneyball” work.
“For those who haven’t seen it yet – go see it. It’s just terrific,” he noted.
