Josh Kaufman Wins ‘The Voice’ Season 6

America has found Season 6’s “The Voice.”

(Spoiler Alert: This story contains the results of Tuesday’s “The Voice” Season 6 finale).

Soulful singer Josh Kaufman of Team Usher has captured the prize. The dad took the title on Tuesday night’s show.

He beat out Team Blake’s country crooner Jake Worthington, who took second place, and Team Adam’s teenage powerhouse vocalist Christina Grimmie, who took third.

Surrounded by his family after his win, Josh could barely speak when host Carson Daly asked him to react to the news.

“I can’t even talk. I’m overwhelmed, I’m surprised, I’m happy, I’m relieved,” Josh said.

Josh said “The Voice” was “so much more of an experience than I ever could have imagined,” and added, “I’m just feeling great.”

Season 7 of “The Voice” airs this fall on NBC.
