Judge Denies Nick Hogan’s Bid To End Jail Isolation

A judge has denied a request by incarcerated teenager Nick Hogan to serve out his sentence under house arrest or out of solitary confinement.

Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan (known legally as Nick Bollea), is currently serving an eight-month sentence for felony reckless driving, in a Pinellas County, FL jail. The crash landed Nick Hogan’s friend, John Graziano in the hospital, where he remains.

Due to his minor status – Nick Hogan is 17-years old — he is currently in solitary confinement in the jail’s medical ward.

On Monday, Nick Hogan’s lawyers filed a request asking the teenager be moved out of solitary or to house arrest, as serving his time where he currently spends 16 hours or more alone, amounted to “cruel and unusual punishment.”

After a review of his petition however, a judge denied the teen’s request earlier today.

In calls released by the prison authority, Nick Hogan told his parents, jail was tough on him.

“It’s just like so lonely in there. And I’m laying there, thinking about how to get out of there,” he told his mother Linda Hogan. “And I’m just sitting there. And you just do nothing. It’s just like a mind f***. You just sit there and think and there’s nothing to think about.”

The teen said the medical ward’s other patients made it particularly difficult.

“It wouldn’t be that bad if I could just see other people, but I can’t and I’m just in some suicide ward,” he said. “There’s some crazy motherf***** singing and tapping on the walls.”
