Judge Rules Britney Can’t Drive With Kids In The Car

Britney Spears can no longer drive with her kids in the car, a judge ruled on Friday, according to reports.

LA Superior Court Commissioner handed down the reported ruling following a 90-minute closed-door hearing on Friday morning.

Neither Britney nor Kevin was present at the hearing.

The closed-door hearing was reportedly requested by Kevin’s camp to discuss a variety of issues before the judge, including Britney’s alleged failed drug test and her reportedly running a red light with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James in the backseat.

One of the figures scheduled to testify at Friday’s hearing was an X-17 photographer who filmed Britney’s alleged red light running incident, however it was unclear if the photographer participated in the hearing.

In a quick interview prior to the hearing, Kevin’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan told Access Hollywood the red light incident was a “dangerous situation” and would be addressed in court today.

Kaplan told Access the top priority for being in court today was Kevin’s fear of the children’s safety when they’re with their mother.

The last time Kaplan and Kevin tried to request an emergency hearing to revoke Britney’s driving privilege with the kids, the judge didn’t see any reason for an emergency.

However, eight hours later, video of Britney running the red light with the kids in the car was posted online, Kaplan added.

The next hearing is set for November 26, with a follow up scheduled for January 23.

Britney and Kevin will not be required to appear at either hearing.

Next two hearings are Nov. 26th and January 23rd.
