Julia Louis-Dreyfus Raves Over James Gandolfini’s ‘Amazing’ Work In Enough Said

Julia Louis-Dreyfus felt “honored” to work with the late James Gandolfini in their upcoming movie, “Enough Said.”

Access Hollywood caught up with the actress at the premiere of her animated Disney movie, “Planes,” where she spoke about working with the actor, who died on June 19.

“I’m really excited for people to see it. It’s something I’m very proud of,” she said of the Nicole Holofcener-directed film. “It’s an incredible performance from James Gandolfini in the film.”

The actress explained that the late actor goes into unchartered acting territory in the film.

“I think Jim would say he was nervous because he was playing a role unlike any other role he played before and a role in which he gets the girl and he was sort of uncomfortable with that,” the Emmy nominee told Access. “He plays a really earnest, mild mannered, dear person. Frankly, very close to what he is [and] he was… I think he was a little bit insecure about it, but he did the most amazing job.”

Adding, “I can’t wait for you to see it. I’m very proud of it. And I really feel honored to have been able to work with him.”

“Enough Said” opens on September 20, but first catch Julia in “Planes” on August 9.
