Julianne Hough ‘Hanging’ With Kings Of Leon Rocker; Band Talks Four Grammy Nominations

Julianne Hough may have a rocker new hunk on her hands.

The sometime “Dancing With the Stars” beauty and current country singer, who split with Chuck Wicks just weeks ago, has recently been spotted with Jared Followill, bassist for the Grammy nominated rock group Kings of Leon.

“They are friends and have been hanging,” a rep for the band told People.

Jared, 23, and Julianne, 21, were seen in Nashville on Tuesday night at Whiskey Kitchen and later, at Lipstick Lounge, where the mag reported they “cuddled.”

“They were very affectionate, just hanging out at the table,” a source who saw the twosome said. “They stayed for about an hour and enjoyed karaoke. None of them sang, but they just hung with their group. Only a few people noticed she was even there. They didn’t make a spectacle of it.”

The two weren’t alone, however, but rather with a number of people including country cutie Holly Williams.

But last night, the band appeared to be partying in celebration of their four Grammy nominations including two for “Use Somebody” which received nods for Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

“stoked about our 4 nominations. time to get drunk,” the band posted on their Facebook page.

At last night’s Grammy nominations concert in Los Angeles, Kings of Leon drummer and eldest Followill brother Nathan predicted such a celebration on the part of his brother, Caleb, who fronts the band.

“He’s probably jumping up and down in his underwear with a bottle of red wine and celebrating the two nominations that we got,” Nathan told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson before calling his blue-eyed sibling in front of Access’ cameras.

“We got four [nominations],” Nathan shouted into his brothers voicemail after Caleb missed picking up the call. “Yes, that’s right — two more than you saw on TV. Yes we are up against the same people in every category so it’s an honor just to be nominated. See you later! Bye-bye.”
