Julianne Hough was reportedly warned about her offensive Halloween costume before she went out.
According to Us Weekly, the “Dancing with the Stars” alum was told by actress and friend Isla Fisher to “go to the bathroom and wipe her face off.”
A source told the mag that Isla “was mortified” that Julianne dressed as “Orange Is the New Black” character Crazy Eyes in blackface.

“Isla hoped she got to Julianne before photos were taken,” the source added.
However, a rep for the actress told the mag that she did not attempt to intervene during Julianne’s Halloween snafu.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Julianne took to Twitter to apologize after the initial outrage surrounding her Halloween costume choice.

“I am a huge fan of the show ‘Orange is the New Black,’ actress Uzo Aduba, and the character she has created,” she wrote on last month. “It certainly was never my intention to be disrespectful or demeaning to anyone in any way.
“I realize my costume hurt and offended people and I truly apologize,” she added.
