Justin Bieber has pleaded with fans in Norway to remain calm after announcing a free show in the country.
“NORWAY – please listen to the police. I dont want anyone getting hurt. I want everything to go to plan but your safety must come first,” Bieber Tweeted on Wednesday, after fans converged on Oslo, where the Canadian superstar is staying.
“At 920 2nite Im going to do a free show 4 u the fans at the Opera House here in Oslo… he show is part of my #AroundTheWorld TV special and I will be doing 6 songs, 4 new, 2 old before i leave. BUT…. .for the show to happen u must all listen to the police. we are all concerned for your safety and i want what is best for u. please listen,” he added.
It appears Wednesday’s show may become part of “Justin Bieber: All Around the World,” a one-hour special set to air on NBC, on Thursday, June 21 at 8 PM.
The newly-announced special (Justin’s first network special), will combine documentary and music performance as he crisscrosses the globe with his album, “Believe.”
“We’re thrilled to air Justin Bieber’s first network special,” Doug Vaughan, SVP of Special Programs and Late Night for NBC, said in a statement. “We’ll have unprecedented access to Justin as our cameras film not only his performances, but his every move on this global tour — giving our viewers an all access pass to his life over a 12-day period, something rarely seen on TV today.”
The special will attempt to show what life is like for the 19-year-old entertainer as he hits seven countries in 12 days, ending with a special show in New York City.
