Justin Bieber is throwing his superstar weight behind pet adoption.
In a new campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), the teen singing sensation is lending his voice to help encourage people to give needy animals a good home.
“It’s really important that people adopt,” the Biebs said in a release. “I really encourage going out to an animal shelter or a place where you can get a dog who has been abandoned or doesn’t have a home.”
In the new poster for the campaign, the singer points to the camera above the words “Animals Can Make U Smile,” and “Adopt From Your Local Shelter,” in homage to his popular hit song, “U Smile.”
This is Beiber’s second campaign for PETA2, the youth-aimed branch of the organization.
