Justin Bieber isn’t drowning his sorrows, he’s getting an education.
The 21-year-old pop star hit Sin City on Saturday to watch Floyd Mayweather’s boxing match, but engaged in some one-on-one of his own before the fight.
Justin took part in a friendly competition with pal Sam Shahidi at Las Vegas Palms Pool and Dayclub, in which the two shotgunned beers. Both guys chugged their beverages with gusto, but Sam came out on top with a few seconds to spare.

The “What Do You Mean” singer shared a clip of the contest on Instagram and explained the loss to his followers.
Unlike many of his peers, Justin never got the chance to acquire the proper skills for an event like this.

“I lost but I didn’t go to college,” he captioned the vid.
Justin’s next album is expected to arrive on Nov. 13.
