Life is good for Justin Bieber’s good friend, Bubba Watson.
Bubba, 33, won golf’s prestigious Masters tournament on Sunday, becoming the latest pro golfer to take home the iconic Masters green jacket.
The Florida-born golfer bested South African golfer Louis Oosthuizen in a dramatic round on Sunday, needing two extra playoff holes to secure the victory.
“proud of u man! congrats! #MASTERS,” Justin Tweeted to Bubba on Sunday night.
It was during a recent interview on Access Hollywood Live where Biebs revealed he and Bubba were best buds.
“Bubba Watson’s one of my good friends,” Justin told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover, in the interview which aired on March 27. “I talk to him almost every day… He’s a good guy.”
But has befriending the pro golfer and new Masters champ helped Justin’s game on the links?
“I’m all right at golfing, I’m not the greatest,” Justin, who said he has a seven or eight handicap, explained. “Bubba says I’m terrible…I think his wife did beat me… but, she’s a player, she can play!”

While the win at the Masters is a huge career milestone, Bubba also recently had a good reason to celebrate off the course – he and his wife Angie adopted a baby boy.
“Everyone (Angie) & I are proud new parents of a 1 month old baby boy name Caleb,” the golfer Tweeted on March 28. “Been a parent for 2 days!”
