Justin Bieber Talks Workout Regime; Singer Reveals Close Friendship With Golfer Bubba Watson

Justin Bieber is bulking up!

The 18-year-old singing superstar stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Tuesday, where he told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover that he’s working on his “guns.”

”[I’m doing] different things, different work outs,” he told Billy and Kit when asked about his fitness routine.

“We do a lot of body weight stuff, just trying to put on some [muscle,] get some guns going on,” he continued.

One place Justin’s growing guns might come in handy is on the golf course when playing a few rounds with his close friend, pro golfer Bubba Watson.

“Bubba Watson’s one of my good friends,” he said of the 33-year-old pro. “I talk to him almost every day… He’s a good guy.”

A good guy that’s not afraid of poking fun at Justin’s golf skills.

“I’m all right at golfing, I’m not the greatest,” Justin, who said he has a seven or eight handicap, explained to Billy and Kit. “Bubba says I’m terrible…I think his wife did beat me… but, she’s a player, she can play!”

The “Boyfriend” singer told Billy and Kit that he’s also looking to expand his career to the big screen – when the right project comes his way.

“We’re working with a lot of people to try to find great scripts and great opportunities for me… that’s definitely something I want to get into, so now I’m just trying to find the best ideas,” he said. “[You’ve] got to make the right decisions and the right choices. I don’t want to come in and be like, ‘Oh yeah, he’s just another singer that’s trying to be an actor and can’t really act.’”

Adding, “I want to shock people [with my acting]…I want it to be a shock.”

Justin’s latest single, “Boyfriend” dropped this week and his upcoming album is due this summer.
