Justin Bieber: ‘Yeah, I Took’ Paternity Test

Justin Bieber has apparently made good on his promise to take a DNA test following the now-dropped paternity suit initially filed by Mariah Yeater, who claimed the singer fathered her infant child.

In a segment taped for “The Late Show with David Letterman” on Tuesday, the 17-year-old artist told the late night host that he had indeed supplied a DNA sample.

“Yeah, I took it,” he said, when asked if he had completed the DNA test. “They just swab your mouth.”

Letterman told the singer he was infuriated when he first heard Yeater’s allegations.

“That made me see red… I was so angry,” he said. “I could smell a weasel.”

“I could smell a weasel too,” Bieber replied with a laugh. “It’s pretty crazy. People make up false accusations.”

As for whether the allegations discouraged Bieber, the singer said the situation hasn’t left him jaded.

“It’s going to happen,” he said. “Being in the spotlight – people can say whatever.”
