Justin Bieber’s Rep: Woman’s Paternity Lawsuit ‘Malicious, Defamatory’

A rep for Justin Bieber is slamming a woman’s claim that the 17-year-old singer is the father of her child.

According to Star magazine, via Radar Online, Mariah Yeater claims her 3-month-old baby is Bieber’s and has reportedly filed a lawsuit against the singer. Yeater is allegedly asking that Bieber take a paternity test and provide support for the child.

Bieber’s rep denies all such claims and says they will take legal action to defend the singer.

“While we haven’t yet seen the lawsuit, it’s sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims,” the rep said in a statement to Access Hollywood.

“We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations,” the statement continued.

According to Radar, a California court has reportedly set a hearing on the matter for December 15.

Early Wednesday morning, Bieber Tweeted, “all the rumors…the gossip….Im gonna focus on the positives….the music”
