Justin Timberlake had to look both rough and buff for his movie debut in “Alpha Dog.”
Timberlake says the director helped him design the tattoos he had in the movie. He says the director told him to pretend like his uncle had owned a tattoo parlor and he had access to it since he was 14.
To get in shape, he lifted weights for an hour and a half a day, then did cardio for an hour and half, and on the sixth day, he boxed.
Timberlake says he’s toured since he was 14 and he’s never done anything as taxing as this — he’s never had to exercise as hard as he did to get buff for this movie.
“Alpha Dog” opens today.
