Justin Timberlake On Britney: ‘I Haven’t Spoken To Her In Years’

Many have tried, but Oprah Winfrey ended up being the first person to get Justin Timberlake to open up about his famous ex-girlfriend, Britney Spears.

During their interview on theWednesday broadcast of the “Oprah Winfrey Show,” chart-topper Timberlake revealed he had not spoken to his pop-star ex in “6 or 7” years.

Oprah approached the subject cautiously, but continued with her line of questioning, asking Justin if he knew what is going on presently, with Britney.

“I don’t know, to be honest with you. I haven’t spoken to her in years,” he said.

Timberlake continued to note the two haven’t kept in communication since their split, quickly squashing rumors the two were no longer on good terms.

“I mean, there’s no ill will-I have nothing but love for her,” he told Winfrey. “We were teenagers, you know?

“I think that’s basically the best way to describe what happened to us. I think she’s a great person, and I don’t know her as well as I did …. I dated her when I was a teenager,” he continued.

When asked by Oprah if Britney had a nervous breakdown, Justin said he had no answer.

“What I can say about [that]? What I do know about her is she has a huge heart and she is a great person. I don’t know. I got nothin’ for ya, I don’t know,” he said.
