Justin Timberlake dusted off his cleats and stepped up to the plate in Texas, but fear not JT fans, the multi-platform superstar isn’t leaving Hollywood behind for a shot at the major leagues.
Dressed in a Corpus Christi Hooks uniform, Justin took a few swings while filming a scene for his new movie, “The Open Road.”
The filming took place at Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi, Texas, prior to a Hooks exhibition game.
In the movie, Justin plays the son of a former baseball legend (Jeff Bridges), who tries to reconnect his father with his ailing mother (Mary Steenburgen).
Kate Mara (“Brokeback Mountain,” “We Are Marshall”) also stars as Justin’s on-screen flame.
Justin will next be seen on the big screen this June opposite Mike Myers and Jessica Alba in “The Love Guru.”
