Kanye West Apologizes To Taylor Swift, Again

Kanye West has apologized – again – for his unexpected outburst at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night.

And this time, he’s comparing his out-of-line actions to a classic Ben Stiller character.

“I feel like Ben Stiller in ‘Meet the Parents’ when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave…,” Kanye wrote on his blog on Monday. “That was Taylor’s moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry. “

It was the second apology the outspoken rapper posted on his blog after he stormed the VMA stage, stealing the microphone — and the spotlight — from Taylor Swift, who had just won Best Female Video.

“I’m sooooo sorry to Taylor Swift and her fans and her mom,” he wrote on his blog on Sunday night in a post which has since been removed. “I’m in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment!”

The apologies came after Kanye interrupted Taylor’s acceptance speech, claiming Beyonce should’ve won the award for her “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” video.

“Yo Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’m [going to] let you finish — but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time,” Kanye told the crowd to a chorus of boos.

And while he has now apologized twice, he stood by his take on Taylor winning over Beyonce.

“Beyonce’s video was the best of this decade!!!!… Everybody wanna boooo me but I’m a fan of real pop culture!!! …I’m still happy for Taylor!!!!” he wrote. “I’m not crazy yall, I’m just real. Sorry for that!!! I feel really bad for Taylor and I’m sincerely sorry!!!”
