Kara DioGuardi Refuses To Answer ‘Idol’ Questions, May Tackle Them In Spring-Due Book

Kara DioGuardi may have spent two seasons on “American Idol,” but apparently, she doesn’t want to talk about it – at least with reporters.

On Thursday, while promoting her upcoming Bravo reality competition show “Platinum Hit,” DioGuardi refused to answer a question at the NBC Universal portion Television Critics Association Winter 2011 session about her departure from the FOX juggernaut. As a result – according to The Hollywood Reporter – she was booed by attendees of the event.

After the session, when approached by reporters, DioGuardi remained firm in her refusal to answer “Idol”-related questions.

“So, you really have nothing to say about your memories of ‘Idol,’ good or bad?” one reporter asked, according to The Toronto Sun.

“You know what? There’s going to be a time when you’ll know all about that,” DioGuardi said.

It appears, however, DioGuardi’s time and place comes at a price – a manufacturer’s suggested retail price, which will appear on her book.

According to The Washington Post, a publicist confirmed that DioGuardi has a book due out this spring with HarperCollins.
