Kate Bosworth Checks Into ‘Hotels’

Kate Bosworth has made a host of headlines recently for rumors about her romantic life, but now she’s making them for her acting work.

The actress is gearing up to star in “Lost Girls and Love Hotels,” a film about a woman who works in Tokyo, where she tries to forget her past by indulging in a “sex and drug-addled oblivion” by night, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In the film, Kate’s character starts to turn her life around after following the story of a missing Western woman.

Kate will also produce the film with Relativity Media.

The project is based on the 2006 novel by Catherine Hanrahan.

In the meantime, Kate is next due up in theaters in 2011 in “Straw Dogs” with “True Blood’s” Alexander Skarsgard.

Kate and Alexander were romantically linked after the two embraced on stage at the GQ Men of the Year Awards last month.

Alexander, however, shrugged the gossip off in a recent interview with Canada’s Metro News.

“There’s not a single young girl that I know in Hollywood that I have not been paired with,” he said. “But that’s what happens if I get into a taxi with a girl, suddenly we’re married.”
