Kate Gosselin & Kids ‘Excited’ For TV Return

Kate Gosselin and her eight children are looking forward to their return to reality TV on TLC.

During the Discovery Communications’ New York Upfront on Thursday, Kate told the crowd that she is “excited” to “share with you the next chapter in my life,” with her new series “Twist of Kate” and numerous upcoming “Kate Plus 8” specials.

The reality mom said the idea for the new show came from her fans constantly seeking her advice.

“Every day, I hear from women across the country who have incredible stories but are overwhelmed with their lives, asking me for advice on everything from potty training to organization,” Kate explained, but noted that they don’t ask her for tips on everything.

“None have asked for dancing advice, however,” the “Dancing with the Stars” contestant joked. “Just thought I’d add that.”

She said she’s ready to dive into her fans lives and experience their struggles.

“So on my new show ‘Twist of Kate,’ I’m going to spend a few days in their lives experiencing their challenges firsthand and lending a helping hand and maybe even some time off,” she explained.

Kate said her eight kids – 9-year-old twins Mady and Cara, as well as the 5-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Alexis, Hannah and Leah – are looking forward to the fun times ahead.

”[We’re] taking some fun trips and having some great adventures,” she continued. “They’re very excited.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Jon Gosselin filed legal papers on Wednesday asking a judge to expand his physical custody and to reduce his child support payments to Kate. The reality dad told Access that he wants to be closer to his eight children and is planning to leave New York City and return to Wernersville, Penn.
