Kate Gosselin’s Twins Speak Up, But Clam Up When Asked About Dad Jon

Following their headline-making tight-lipped appearance on the “Today” show, Kate Gosselin’s 13-year-old twin daughters had a redo on Tuesday.

Mady, Cara and Kate appeared on “The View,” where they were much more candid about their lives.

“What kind of stuff do you do around the house to help your mom?” co-host Sherri Shepherd asked.

“I don’t help, so Cara?” Mady said, turning to her sister.

“Okay, well, I unload the dishes,” Cara said. “Mady loads the dishwasher. She does do some work. We wipe down the counters and clean up dinner.”

They were also asked about how they handled their parent’s split.

“Honestly, it wasn’t hard for us. I think it was harder for [our mom], definitely. It didn’t really affect me and we still saw both parents. We were little, we were like 8 or 9, so we knew what was going on, but we didn’t see the stuff [in the media],” Mady explained.

As for the twin’s 9-year-old sextuplets siblings (Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel and Leah), Mady told the panel they “are annoying. It’s not even just the group! It’s every single one of them.”

They might have been chatty during their “View” appearance initially, but when the subject turned to dad Jon they clammed up.

“Do you see your father, too?” Barbara Walters asked the girls.

The twins did not answer and simply shrugged their shoulders.
