Kate Hudson Gives Birth To Second Child

Kate Hudson and her fiance, Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy, are the proud parents of a baby boy, Access Hollywood has learned.

“Matthew and Kate welcomed a healthy baby boy on July 9, 2011,” a rep for the “Something Borrowed” star told Access on Sunday.

The new arrival, whose name has yet to be announced, is the second child for the Kate – the 32-year-old beauty also has a 7-year-old son, Ryder, with ex-husband, Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Kate has said her second pregnancy differed from her first – especially when it came to food cravings.

“I like plain foods with this one,” Kate told Access at the premiere of “Something Borrowed” in Los Angeles in May.
“If I want a snack, it’s usually fruit,” she continued. “I don’t like anything too heavy. I think that’s pretty much all it is. And I was really sick for the first one, so it’s just a totally different pregnancy.”

Kate and Matthew began dating in 2010 and the actress announced the couple’s engagement on the “Today” show in April 2011.

“I’m engaged!” Kate, who was expecting her second child with the Brit rocker at the time, said with a big smile. “It just happened a week ago,” she explained. “I haven’t really announced it and I kind of feel like the announcing thing feels so silly, you know what I mean? I was just waiting for somebody to notice.

“He’s a beautiful man and I’m excited, but I think we’re just going to fit into the baby thing for a little bit,” she continued.

As for how Matt proposed, the blonde beauty kept the details private only revealing, “It was very sweet, it was very sweet. It was very romantic.”
