Kate Hudson On Her Glee Character: ‘She’s Really Nasty!’

Kate Hudson is days away from making her “Glee” debut, when the show returns for its fourth season on September 13, and she is excited for fans to meet her character – NYADA dance teacher Cassandra July.

“[She’s] a really nasty, fun character,” Kate told Access Hollywood’s Scott “Movie” Mantz at the Toronto International Film Festival, where she was promoting her film, “Reluctant Fundamentalist.”

The promos for the new season already show Cassandra giving Lea Michele’s Rachel Berry a hard time, and Kate has enjoyed playing the saucy teacher.

“She is definitely very petty and fun, but she’s got a good arc. She goes somewhere,” Kate hinted. “But, it’s a blast. I’m having so much fun on ‘Glee.’ It’s really, really fun.”

Also up at the Toronto International Film Festival from the “Glee” cast was Darren Criss, who plays Blaine, and he tried not to confirm that trouble is ahead for the show’s super couple – Kurt and Blaine.

“I think the Internet knows already the answer to that question,” Darren said on the “Imogene” red carpet when asked if a rocky road was ahead for the couple fans sometimes call “Klaine.”

“But, for diplomatic purposes, I’ll say I don’t know,” Darren added. “Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.”

“Glee’s” Season 4 premieres September 13 at 9/8c on FOX.
