Kathy Griffin’s Talk Show Canceled By Bravo

Sad news for Kathy Griffin fans – the comedian’s talk show, “Kathy,” has been canceled.

Kathy revealed the news herself during a stand-up performance in Cincinnati on Friday, where she told the audience Bravo had informed her on Thursday that the network would not be renewing her show.

The 52-year-old star confirmed the news on Twitter on Saturday, writing, “Sad but true.”

The second season of “Kathy” debuted in January, but was bumped from its primetime 10 PM slot in February to a later time (11:30 PM).

Despite the disappointing news, another talk show may be in Kathy’s future.

According to Deadline, in March, the funny gal shot an hour-long test show for CNN alongside her friend, Anderson Cooper (whose talk show, “Anderson Live,” was also recently canceled).

While details of the project remain under lock and key, the website reported the show was filled with humor and filmed at CNN Studios in the Time Warner Center in New York in front of a live studio audience.
