Katie, 57, wore an ivory beaded and embroidered Chantilly lace halter gown by Carmen Marc Valvo for the big day, according to People.

The wedding included readings by the groom’s children, Allie and Henry, as well as Katie’s daughters with late husband Jay Monahan, Ellie, 22, and Carrie, 18. John’s nieces served as flower girls, according to the mag.

Katie and John got engaged over Labor Day weekend 2013 after dating for two years and Katie introduced her groom-to-be on her talk show the following week.

While making her personal life public can have its drawbacks, Katie said the support she received from the fans made it worth it.

“I think people have watched me kind of – not grow up, but grow older in front of them and deal with the death of my husband and later my sister,” she told Access Hollywood in a September 2013 interview. “And I think they know that I’ve had some sadness in my life. Certainly a lot of sadness.

“I think they’re just happy and excited that I’m embarking on this new chapter and I have to say, it’s been very gratifying,” she added.
